Welcome to Prairie Dog Action! The local advocacy group to protect animals of the great short-grass prairies. The mission of Prairie Dog Action (PDA) is to protect the remaining prairie dogs and their habitat
while recognizing the importance of this keystone species. By organizing with citizens on a local level, we work to design plans for habitat protection and to develop
plans for humane relocation when necessary.
Prairie Dog Action values the local wildlife and the imperiled ecosystem of the West. We would like to share fascinating
facts with you about prairie dogs. We feel our ideas can better the world, and we want to let other people
know how they can join in and save the prairies. We hope our efforts will serve to protect prairie dogs in the
only area of the world to which they are native.
